Successful completion leads to a Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) card, valid for five years, proving competence to work on the highway.

This 5 day comprehensive course combines classroom-based learning with practical training and includes:

• An overview of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991
• Principles of traffic management
• Signing, lighting, and guarding (Unit S1/O1)
• Safe excavation and reinstatement practices
• Risk assessments and site safety protocols

The training follows the latest CABWI assessment framework and HAUC(UK) guidelines.

• Duration: 5 days
• Format: Classroom-based with practical sessions
• Location: 23 Crofton Road, Lincoln, LN3 4NL
• Schedule: Typically Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 4.00 pm
