This course is ideal for:

• Operatives, supervisors, and contractors who carry out tasks at height
• Individuals responsible for planning, supervising, or managing work at height
• Those using fall protection equipment such as harnesses

• Half Day Course (typically 3–4 hours)
• Duration may vary depending on class size

The training covers a blend of classroom theory and hands on practical learning, including:

• Working at Height Regulations 2005 (Amended 2007)
• Identifying working at height operations and associated risks
• Understanding and applying preventative measures
• Site safety awareness in height-risk environments
• Fitting and inspecting a safety harness correctly
• Carrying out safety checks before use

Participants will engage with structured presentations, group discussion, and a practical harness fitting and inspection assessment.

• Multiple-Choice Exam covering course theory
• Practical Assessment: Candidates must demonstrate correct use of a harness and understanding of key safety checks
• Both components must be passed to receive certification

• A good understanding of spoken and written English is essential
• One form of photographic ID (e.g. Driving Licence or Passport) must be presented on the day
• Delegates must bring full PPE, including appropriate workwear and safety boots

• On successful completion, delegates receive an In-House Certificate of Training
• Certification is valid for 3 years, after which refresher training is recommended
