EUSR SHEA Water scheme is designed for individuals who work in the water industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management.

The Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Water course is part of the nationally recognised EUSR SHEA passport scheme. Developed in partnership with the utilities industry, the scheme ensures individuals working in the UK water industry have the necessary safety, health, and environmental awareness before entering operational sites. The course includes 8 modules—6 core modules relevant across all utility sectors, and 2 water-specific modules—designed to reflect industry best practice and legal expectations. The scheme is suitable for individuals working on clean water, wastewater, or sewerage infrastructure. Please note: All UK water companies require a valid National Water Hygiene (Blue Card) EUSR registration for individuals entering clean water sites or engaging in restricted operations.
