EUSR Butt Fusion
This practical training course is designed for individuals working in the utilities sector, particularly those involved in the installation and maintenance of water, gas, and wastewater pipelines.
- Butt Fusion: A method of joining two pipe ends by heating and fusing them together to form a strong, seamless joint. The course teaches correct procedures, safety protocols, and the use of specialist equipment to ensure leak-free, durable connections that meet industry standards.
This endorsed training programme with the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) ensures participants gain the essential knowledge and hands-on experience required to carry out fusion jointing to industry standards. Successful candidates will be registered on the EUSR for a period of 3 years. Certification is essential for demonstrating competence and contributes to the overall safety, reliability, and efficiency of utility infrastructure.
EUSR Butt Fusion Course Overview
This practical training and assessment course is designed to provide delegates with the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively carry out Butt Fusion jointing of polyethylene (PE) pipes in line with industry standards.
