NVQ Level 2
The learner will be assessed in their workplace in a variety of ways, such as evidence generated from the workplace. The assessor will appraise the learner through a variety of ways on-site, such as written questions, professional discussions, evidence generated from the workplace, observations and witness testimonials. The qualification course structure incorporates a selection of mandatory units. No matter which pathway the learner chooses; each pathway has its own mandatory and optional units which will be highlighted by your assessor.

The NVQ Level 2 in Construction Operations allows the learner to show their ability in their role. By obtaining the qualification the learner will have evidence that they are working to the required standard. It is for Construction Operatives who are aiming to gain the Blue CSCS Card or Skilled Worker Card.
NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations. We offer a range of NVQs in Plant Operations. Each NVQ is aimed at learners who work in with different types of Plant in the construction industry. For Construction Operatives who are looking to obtain their Blue Competent Operative Card or Blue CPCS Card


NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision is for learners who work in the built environment. The Course length is Dependant on how quickly the learner can gather the relevant evidence. The learner will be assessed on-site through a range of methods, such as observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion and witness testimonials. This qualification is aimed at experienced operatives in their skilled trade that is overseeing a group of same skill operatives and commonly referred to as gangers or foremen who are looking to obtain a Gold Supervisory CSCS Card.
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management is a competence-based qualification designed for those who work in the construction sector. An NVQ is used to provide evidence of the learner’s competency in their role.
The duration of the NVQ is dependent on how quickly the learner can gather the relevant evidence. The learner will be assessed on-site through a range of methods, such as observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion and witness testimonials. The Level 6 NVQ is for Construction Site Managers who intend to gain the Black Manager CSCS card.
